Lloyd Guy Denney was born in Madera, Ca on July 26, 1937 to Moody and Lorraine Denney.
He is survived by his wife Twyla Denney they were married 63 years, his sons Lloyd "Guy" Denney and Loren Scott Denney. His grandsons Aaron Bass (Sarah), Loren Scott Denney Jr. (Melinda Gallegos) Brandon Denney, and Jayden (Miriam Gomez) Denney,. His great grandkids, Cora Bass, Kayleigh Blank, Christopher Bass, Andrew Denney, Precious Castro Loren "Scott" Denney 111, Nikoli Denney, Sadida Hernandez, Anthony Hernandez, Asteria Leyla Orduna . He is also survived by his sister Leona (Bob) Wade, sister Peggy Sherril, brothers Michael (Evelyn) Denney, Irv (Joanne) Denney, and sister in law Isabel Rocha, and his brother in law Glen Shupe. His brother Richard Denney, sister Emily Shupe and brother Charlie Denney Have gone on before him.
Many people came into Lloyd’s life that he considered family, simply because he loved them. Lloyd went to Madera Schools, and local colleges. Lloyd joined the United States Air Force in 1955 to 1959. Part of that time, he served in the Drum and Bugle corp. When Lloyd came home he started in construction, opened his own company then Denney Construction with his brothers, and Boss Construction with Criss Abshire. His hobby was always his old cars; finished is his 1956 Ford pickup and his 1929 model A Roadster. He taught all of his kids and grandkids the love of cars and working on cars.
He loved his church Madera Baptist Church. Earlier in life, he was a member of the Lions Club, Madera Elks, Madera Dune Buggy Club, (Yosemite Sam) Toastmasters, and Madera Classic Cars. He is loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins and will be greatly missed.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Madera Baptist Church.
