Mrs Lila Ann Johnson

Lila Ann Johnson passed away peacefully at home in Madera on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the age of 87. She was predeased by her loving husband, Richard Benjamin Johnson on July 17, 2013, and her son, Robert. Together Dick and Lila formed and grew a thriving farm management company in Madera publicly known as Tierra Buena Farm Management. Lila was an integral part of that company and together Dick and Lila participated in many of the agricultural organizations over the past 40 years.

The Johnson Family will be forever grateful to the three cherished caregivers, Teesha, Tina and Shay, who provided loving and tender care for Lila throughout the past 9 years, and a thank you goes out to the members of Hinds Hospice who provided their compassion and assistance.

Lila was also preceded in passing by her parents Floyd and Bobby Nelson. Lila is survived by two sons, Steve and Carl Johnson, her daughter in law Jean, and a gaggle of grandchildren.

In keeping with Lila’s specific wishes, there will be no memorial service.

Mom and Lila, we all love and miss you and will think of you finally reunited with Dick and sipping ‘tinis and enjoying shrimp cocktails with a crab salad together wherever that might be.
