Leo Herrera

Leovigildo “Leo” Herrera was born on March 4, 1949 in Veracruz, Mexico, to Ricardo and Sara (Morales) Herrera and passed away on September 22, 2020, Fresno, CA at the age of 71.

Leo was a resident of Madera for the past 31 years. He was a farm laborer for 30 years. Leo was educated at Mesa Directiva De Santa Maria, Tidu, where he received his MBA at National Autonomous University of Mexico in 1987. He is a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Margarita Herrera of Madera, his children, Ana Maria Herrera of Mexico, Ricardo Herrera and his wife Gena of Biola, Christopher Herrera of Madera, Misaeli I. Herrera and his wife Martha of Chowchilla, and Teresa Mendoza and her husband Cesar of Oregon. Leo also leaves behind 25 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren

Visitation will be held at Thursday, September 30, 2020, 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Jay Chapel.

Rosary & Mass will be celebrated at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Thursday, October 1, 2020 Rosary 11:00 followed by Mass at 11:30 am, Madera, CA
