Lea Martinelli

Lea Martinelli was born on June 7,1927 to Pietro and Elvira Lotti of Madera and passed away May 22, 2018 after a brief illness.  She was 90.

Lea was a life long resident of Madera.  She graduated Madera Union High School, Class of 45.  She was a Realtor since 1976 and established Martinelli Properties in 1985 which is still an active real estate office in Madera.  She served her community for several years as a member of the Madera County Planning Commission.
 
Lea is preceded by her parents, three sisters, Lydia and Ann Marie Lotti, Alma Sciacqua and brother in law Gino Sciacqua, Robert and Marta Martinelli also brother in law and sister in law.  Grandson Tommy Silva also preceded her in death.

She will be missed by her husband of nearly 69 years Lorrin Wm. (Bill) Martinelli, daughter Lori Silva and her husband John of Madera, granddaughter Lauren Biscay and her husband Nick of Madera step granddaughter Mellissia Silva of North Carolina.  Mia, Brenna and Emily Biscay will also miss their " Gigi" 

Lea loved to cook and insisted that everyone who came to visit was fed.  She loved and adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. 

Visitation will be Thursday May 24th from 2:00- 7:00 PM at Jay Chapel and vigil service 7:00PM Jay Chapel.  Mass of Christian burial is Friday, May 25th, 1:00 PM at St. Joachims Catholic Church in Madera.

Services will conclude at church with a private family entombment at Calvary Cemetery.
