Marge, thank you for your kind words. Not too long before she passed away, Mom and I were talking about all her family, friends, and co-workers who pre-deceased her. She specifically mentioned you as still living, and how much she enjoyed working with you. Thank you for your friendship to Mom.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Lawanda Grace McGee Allred. What a wonderful tribute about her. I would have like her I'm sure and I suspect her daughter, Susan is a lot like her, passionate about learning, caring for others and always helping out those in need. I truly believe the more you give of yourself, the more you get in return. She definitely lead by example by teaching her children to help others. From what little Susan shared about her mom, she missed her husband terribly after his passing and I suspect it is difficult to carry on without the love of your life, so while I am sad for Susan and the rest of her family, I am happy she is finally reunited with the love of her life. With regret: Shelley Huskey
