Mr LG Beshears

LG Beshears passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020.  He was 91 years young.  Dad was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas when at the age of nine his family moved from Arkansas to Madera, California.  He lived in Madera and farmed for 60 years, which he loved, until he sold the ranch to retire. Retirement did not last very long because he then took up driving tractor-trailer for Kuckenbecker Tractor, delivering tractors all over the west coast.  He loved his western dancing, which he took up after his second retirement.  He danced until his feet couldn’t dance anymore. 

He was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Luther and Nellie Beshears and his two sisters Evelyn Smith and Wanda Truitt. 


He is survived by his three daughters, Kathie Johnson and her two children Tonya Isturis and Brent Johnson.  Rhonda Johnson and her husband Bruce along with their two daughters Liesel Miller her husband Brad, Leah Peters and her husband Aaron, his youngest daughter Konnie Voss her husband Emmett and their three children. Brandal Goetz his wife Julie, Jason Goetz his wife Ashley and Angela Lewis her husband Steve. Last but not least Jeff Schrader and his wife Evie whom Dad adopted as his one and only son. Dad was blessed with 7 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren and one Great Great-Grandson.

LG was a loving son, brother and Father.  We love you Pop.  Rest In Peace, you will be missed. 

Services will be held on Monday November 23 at 11:00am.
