Mrs Karen Sue Myers

On Saturday, February 15, 2020, Karen Sue Myers, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away surrounded by her loving family.

Karen was born on January 23, 1942 in Harvey, IL to Stanley and Josephine Reed.
Karen attended William S. Hart High School in Newhall, CA where she met the love of her life, Jim Myers.

Karen and Jim were married in 1958 and moved to Fresno to start their family. They raised two sons, Anthony and Jeffrey, and two daughters, Carrie and Mandy.

Karen loved to travel and was an avid reader. She was a music lover and an accomplished cook. She enjoyed spending time with Jim and her children and grandchildren. She was known for her quick wit, warm smile and her kind and compassionate spirit.

Karen was preceded in death by her father and mother, Stanley and Josephine Reed of Fresno, her sister, Paula Horsky of Vancouver, WA, her daughter Carrie Schroeder and her son Jeffrey Myers, both of Madera.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Myers of Fresno, her son Anthony Myers of Madera, her daughter Mandy Meddock and son-in-law Brandon Meddock of La Mirada and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be held.
