Justin Lopez

Justin Lopez, a resident of Fresno, California, passed away on November 16, 2021 at the age of 38.
Justin was born in Madera, California on September 15, 1983. He attended Madera High School where he played football for three years and made many lifelong friends. He worked for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation for 15 years where he started as a Correctional Officer and promoted to Correctional Sergeant.

His greatest joy was being a father. His strong spiritual faith was an inspiration to others. His big heart and positive outlook on life endeared him to many. He enjoyed being surrounded by nature, hiking, and biking.

He is survived by his children Jayda, Noah, and Eva; his parents Justino and Juanita Lopez; his sister Lorena Young and her husband Wayne; his nephew Christopher; his nieces Ellia and Sofia; countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Justin will be missed immensely; there will forever be a void in all of our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 at Jay Chapel, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. also at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA.

Interment to follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery
