Judy Ann Smith was born on January 24, 1944 in Susanville, California to Marion & Florence Moore and passed away on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 in Madera California.
She is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Richard Smith, of 53 years.
Her three lovely daughters and their husbands;
Tracy & Greg Swan of Fresno, California
Alice & Gordon Ramsay of Anchorage, Alaska
Sandra & Pete Kinzel of Dinuba, California
Her 5 grandchildren; Craig Ramsay, Nicholas Swan, Heather Ramsay, Whitney Swengel, and Joseph Smith
Three foreign exchange students; Valeria Lai, Isabelle Joly, and Yoshiki
Because her father worked in the saw mill industry in Northern California, her family moved a lot. She attended 22 different schools. She graduated from Madera High School in 1962 and married her high school sweetheart in November of 1966.
She was a stay at home Mom and took very good care of her husband, daughters and grandchildren.
She was a seamstress and made a lot of clothes for her daughters. She made several prom dresses and at least two wedding dresses and a lot of Bridesmaid dresses. She also enjoyed crocheting and made several baby blankets for her grandchildren. She also liked doing various other crafts.
She loved camping with her family and close friends.
She was involved in Girl Scouts as a troop leader for her daughters and a council member for over 10 years.
