Judy Elrod “Grandma Jude”

Judy Elrod passed away on Sunday June 14, 2020 at the age of 72. Judy was born in Hanford California, to Tanner and Ruby Amerson on July 28, 1947 and has been a resident of Madera for 62 years. Judy worked for Madera Unified School District for 35 years. Judy enjoyed reading, crocheting and visiting with family and friends. She took pleasure in the time she spent with her grandchildren watching them sing and perform.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband Jim and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Michele Ivory and her husband Doug Ivory of Madera and her son Stacey Elrod and his wife Jennifer of Las Vegas NV. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Saylor Sutton, Truxton Ivory, Lucas Elrod, Tanzy Ivory and one great grandson, Zane Sutton.
