Juana Maria Llanes

Juana Llanes age 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 surrounded
by her loving family. She was born in Matehuala San Luis Potosi, Mexico. She was a resident of Madera for 68 years. Juana was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera. She was a homemaker, and a hard worker to support her family. Juana loved to cook for her family, garden, and going to the casino. She also, loved to walk and had many friends in her neighborhood. She also liked to spend time at the Frank A. Bergon Senior Center where she would meet with friends to chat and play bingo and have lunch.

Juana is preceded in death by her parents Ernesto and Antonia Llanes, her brothers Genaro Llanes, Sylvestre Llanes, Joaquin “Kino” Llanes, and her sister Alicia Llanes.

She is survived by her sons David Rosario and his wife Nenita, Richard "Rocky" Regalado and her brothers Robert “Bob” Llanes and his wife Gail, Hilario “Larry” Llanes and his wife Barbara, Wally Llanes. Her sisters Maria S. Martinez, Ernestina “Tina” Pacho and her husband Mario, and sister in-in-laws Dora Llanes and Patty Llanes. Juana is also the grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She also, leaves behind many nieces and nephews and friends.
