Juan Martinez Garay

Juan Martinez Garay, Age 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Madera, Ca on Saturday, January 5, 2019. Juan was born in Mexico on July, 23, 1949 to Antonio and Teresa Garay. After moving to Ca, Juan worked as a farm laborer for over 45 years. Juan was a resident of Delano, Ca before moving to Chowchilla 30 years ago.

Juan is preceded in death by his father Antonio Garay, his brother Eddie Garay, his son Arthur Garay, and his great-granddaughter Anna’lissa Barron.

Juan is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Florence Garay of Chowchilla, his mother Teresa Garay, his two sons Johnny Garay of Chowchilla and Gilbert Garay of Chowchilla, and his three daughters Dolores Garay of Turlock, Angie Garay of Chowchilla, and Rebecca and her husband Frank Trovao of Chowchilla. Juan also leaves behind his three brothers Antonio “Tony” Garay of Chowchilla, Robert Garay of Chowchilla, and Julio “Jay” Garay of Chowchilla, his six sisters Yolanda Mendez of Georgia, Rosa Alvarado of Chowchilla, Teresa Dawson of Chowchilla, Sandra Garay of Chowchilla, Lucy Garay of Chowchilla, and Lisa Zavala of Chowchilla, as well as his twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
