Josefina Alejandre De Ceja passed away on 2/27/21 in her home surrounded by her love ones. Josefina proceeded in death by her parents Consuelo Hinojosa and Erineo Alejandre. Her daughter Josefina Ochoa and her sister Elvira Cabezas. Josefina is survived by her husband Alfredo Ceja of 61 years. Her children Alfredo and wife Martha Ceja of Madera. Son in law Eduardo Ochoa of Galt. Maria and husband Jaime Villafan of Madera. Consuelo and husband Jose Ruiz of Ceres. Juan Manuel and wife Angelina Ceja of Delhi. Ramon and wife Lorena Ceja of Madera. Oscar and wife Milly Ceja of Dinuba. Jesus and wife Rosa Ceja of Madera. Nacho and wife Pina Ceja of Madera. And Josefina Ceja of Madera. Josefina is also survived by her 28 grandchildren and her 24 great grandchildren. She survived by siblings Lupe Garica, Alicia Alejandre, Jesus Alejandre of Mexico and Luis, Teresa, Jorge and Neo of the Bay Area.
Josefina moved to the United States in 1991 from Chavinda Michoacán Mexico. She was a devoted catholic who loved planning and celebrating every year El Dia de La Candelaria. Where she would put to use her great sewing skills and would create angel, shepherds, Virgen Mary and Saint Joseph’s outfits. She would then have her grandchildren dress up and have a great time caroling and ended the night with typical Mexican dishes surrounded by the family and friends.
She was devoted mom and wife and enjoyed sitting outside and watching her garden. She loved being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. She had a beautiful smile and a contagious laugh that would brighten up the room. She loved music and loved life. She was a strong woman and fought until the end. She was greatly loved and will be truly missed.
