Jose Garcia

Jose Garcia passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at the age of 95. Jose was born in Mexico to Dionicio and Maria (Ceja) Garcia on October 13, 1923. He has been a resident of Madera for the past 49 years. Jose worked as a farm laborer for 40 years. He was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his three sisters and his wife, Maria Luz Garcia.
Jose is survived by his seven sons, two daughters, one brother. Jose also leaves behind thirty one grandchildren, fifty seven great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm as well as Friday, September 20, 2019 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 7:00 pm at Jay Chapel, Madera, CA

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 20, 2019, 1:00 pm at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA followed by an interment at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA
