Jorge Aguilar

Jorge "Shorty" Aguilar born April 23, 1971 passed away at the age of 47 on February 17, 2019 surrounded by family after a 7 year battle with cancer. He was an inspiration to many; his love for life and his family was admirable. He graduated from Madera High School in 1990. Jorge worked for Georgia Pacific for 23 years where he made many great friends and always took pride in all of his work. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Maria Aguilar, three children Vanessa Reynoso, Jorge Anthony Aguilar and Vincent Anselmo Aguilar, six sibling Irma Hernandez, Leticia Aguilar, Fernando Aguilar, Norma Ramirez, Monica Baez, and David Aguilar, and his two loving parents Anselmo and Mercedes Aguilar. He will be greatly missed and will live in our hearts forever. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera. Services conclude at the church.
