Jimmy “Jim” Wayne Anderson, age 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Jim was born on March 24, 1940 in Teague, Texas. After retiring from the United States Navy in 1976 as a Chief Warrant Officer Two, he moved to Madera and started up his own business, Anderson Bros. Water Well Drilling and Domestic Pumps. When he wasn’t at work, Jim loved to travel in their Motorhome and spend time with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his five siblings.
Jim is survived by his wife of over 58 years Shirley Anderson of Madera, his daughter Shanda and her husband Ken Robinson of North Carolina, his two grandchildren Brooke Morgan and Brogan Magill, and his three great-grandchildren Sawyer Montgomery, Emerson Rae, and Archer Anderson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 5, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera. Private Burial at a later date.
