Jesus G Garcia

Jesus Garcia, age 95, a resident of Madera, California passed away November 18, 2019, in Madera. He was born August 7, 1924, in Mexico, the son of Marcelino Garcia and Santos Gonzales. Jesus worked as an agricultural labor foreman for 45 before retiring.

Family remember fun activities with Jesus which included going to eat at his favorite restaurant, Ole Frijole; going to the casino; and never missing the Price is Right! He kept in good health exercising as a daily walker. He also enjoyed relaxing by gardening, and watching the Dodger’s Baseball games.

Jesus is preceded in death by both parents, two brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter.

He is survived by two sons: Jessie and Gabriel Garcia; four daughters: Rosa Miranda and her husband Miguel, Helen Vergara, Terry Barajas and her husband Carlos, Josephine Quintanilla and her husband Izequiel; his niece and care giver for 14 years, Anita Gonzales (whom he loved and cherished like a daughter; four brothers, three sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A visitation will be held on, Monday, November 25, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Jay Chapel, 1121 Roberts Avenue, Madera. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at Jay Chapel with graveside services immediately after in Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA.
