Mrs Jeannie Rollins

Jeannie Rollins passed away on Thursday September 2, 2021 at the age of 87. She was born in Madera, CA where she graduated from Madera Union High School in 1951. She was retired from Madera Unified School District after working 23 years as an Assistant Manager in the kitchen at Thomas Jefferson Jr. High. After she retired, she worked part time at Madera Floral Shop delivering flowers.

Family was very important to Jeannie and she loved being around her grandsons and their families. She taught the great grandchildren how to play cards and loved playing games with them, watching their sporting events and going to dance recitals. She taught each of them to drive her golf cart and always told them, when you get your license it’s because I taught you to drive!!

Jeannie was a member of the Italo American club where she enjoyed many events from dinner dances they put on, dinners they enjoyed together and card games. She also loved to go to the Casino’s and was ready to go whenever someone wanted to take her.

She volunteered her time at St. Vincent de Paul for many years and was active in PTA when her kids were young.

Jeannie is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Berdina Seghetti, her husband Bruce Rollins, her son Randy Rollins and her granddaughter Jennifer Rollins. She is survived by her daughter Elaine Fisher and her husband Sam, two grandsons Brian and his wife Erika and Bruce and his wife Randi, her daughter-in-law Edie Rollins and five great grandchildren, Aaden, Ella, Cole, Londen and Christian.

Visitation will be at St. Joachim’s Church at 10:00 am on Thursday, September 9, 2021 A rosary at the church will be recited at 10:30 with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am.

Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA.
