Jeanette Marie Garcia, age 50, of Madera, passed away on Monday, October 9 , 2017 following a brief illness. Jeanette was born in San Jose, CA and later moved with her family to Madera, CA in 1969. She received her education in Madera, graduating with the class of 1985. She later attended college at Fresno City College. Jeanette had a distinguished career in Real Estate sales, spanning a career of 25 years. She currently was a Broker with London Properties in Madera. She was active in local, state and national Real Estate Associations. Jeanette attended The River Worship Center in Madera where her father and brother are ministers.

Jeanette is survived by her husband of 29 years, Nestor Garcia Jr. of Madera, her children, Theresa Resendez and her husband Alejandro of Madera, and Nestor Garcia III of Los Angeles. She is the beloved daughter of Pastor Samuel and Beatrice Alvarado of Madera and the granddaughter of Mrs. Jessie Alvarado Gutierrez of Madera. She is the sister of Samuel Alvarado Jr. and his wife Patricia and Pastor Steve Alvarado and his wife Yvonne all of Madera. She is the cherished daughter-in-law of Pastor Nestor and Dora Garcia also of Madera. Also surviving are numerous extended family members and friends who mourn her passing.

An evening service will be held on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 6 PM at The River Worship Center, 26247 Ellis Street, in Madera. A funeral service will be on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 8:30 AM also at The River Worship Center. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
