James “Jimmy” Phillips, age 75, a native and lifelong resident of Madera, CA passed away Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in Madera, CA. He was born July 31, 1941. Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Gladys Phillips at a very young age and later by his loving cousins, Guy and Edith Crow who raised him.

Jimmy loved going to estate sales, auctions, and swap meets. He was one of the original pickers. He also enjoyed spending mornings with friend at McDonalds. Jimmy had many good friends that he enjoyed spending time with including Adolph Bautista, Jim Toschi, Richard Jones, Willis Creamer, Bob Coyle and Donna Upton. He will be missed by many and the lives that he touched will never be the same.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:00 am at Jay Chapel in Madera. Interment will follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.

Remembrances may be made to any “no kill animal shelter “of your choice.
