Isabel Bautista-Meza, age 66, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018, in Fresno, California. Isabel was born in Delano, California to Silverio and Ramona Bautista on October 3, 1952. Isabel was a member of both St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Fresno. Isabel was a wine maker and worked at Mission Bell for over 30 years. She was a member of a Fresno Filipino Club as well as St. Anthony’s Women’s Ministry. Isabel loved going to work, shopping, gardening, watching her 49ers and Warriors play, and doing her yard work. Above all else, Isabel loved to spend time with her grandchildren and her sisters.
Isabel was preceded in death by her grandmother Victoria Nino (Chica), father, Silverio Bautista, daughter Maria Meza, two brothers, Alex Bautista and Giovanni Bautista, niece Elizabeth Alfaro and nephew Rubielle Meza.
She is survived by her mother Ramona Bautista of Fresno, her two sons, Fernando and his wife Alegdra Meza of Fresno and Steve Rodriguez of Fresno, her two daughters Lizette Meza of Fresno and Leslie Rodriguez of Fresno, her six brothers Oscar and his wife Elisa Bautista of Pittsburg, CA, Marlon and his wife Rosie Bautista of Madera, Gilbert Bautista of San Diego, Omar and his wife Elaine Bautista of Madera, John and his wife Maria Bautista of Madera, and Aldo Bautista of Madera, and her four sisters Leticia Bautista-Denes of Santa Maria, Marlene and her husband Carlos Garcia of Delhi, Sonia Bautista of Madera, and Sandra Bautista of Madera. Isabel also leaves behind eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren that she loved beyond measure.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 6:00 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November, 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera.
Internment immediately following at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
