Hope Villearreal Castillo

Hope Castillo, age 79, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 in Madera, Ca. She was born on October 21, 1940 to Marcos and Dolores Villearreal in Yoakum, Texas. Hope was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera and was a resident of Madera for over 28 years. Hope loved cooking, baking, traveling, and being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Hope was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Domingo Castillo, son Domingo Castillo Jr., brother Lino Villearreal, sisters Josie Villearreal and Connie Wilson, and her grandson SPC. Marcos A. Corona.

Hope is survived by her two daughters Alice and her husband Raymond Rodriguez of Clovis and Sally and her husband Robert Corona of Fresno, her two brothers Marcos Villearreal of Texas and Jesse Villearreal of Texas, and her two sisters Lucy Villearreal of Texas and Nell and her husband Frank Flores of Texas. Hope is also survived by her five grandchildren Stephanie Rodriguez, Martin Rodriguez, Robert Matthew Corona, Manuel and his wife Brianna Corona and Thomas Corona, and her five great-grandchildren Aurelia McCormick, Marcos Corona Jr., Noah Corona, Julianna Corona and Devan Corona.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera. A family graveside service will immediately follow at Arbor Vitae Cemetery.
