Herminia Mirelez, age 92, passed away peacefully in Madera on October 8, 2017. Herminia was born in Texas on April 18, 1925, to Emeterio Delgado and Maria Saldana. Herminia has been a resident of Madera for the past 59 years, where she was a homemaker and raised her 13 children. Herminia was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church for many years. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, as well as gardening and tending to her plants.
Herminia was also an avid fan of WWE wrestling, her favorite being John Cena, she never missed a show.

Herminia is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Mirelez, her two sons Rudy Mirelez and Ramiro Mirelez, and her son-in-law Raymond Saldana.

Herminia is survived by eleven of her children: Lupe Saavedra of Madera, Cathy and her husband Don Bemis of Montague, Connie and her husband Gilbert Ortez of Madera, Robert and his wife Emma Mirelez of Madera, Roger and his wife Dora Mirelez of Fresno, Richard and his wife Janie Mirelez of Madera, Raul and his wife Maria Mirelez of Fresno, Rita Saldana of Fresno, Reynaldo and his wife Angela Mirelez of Madera, Rosita Mirelez of Madera, and Herminia and her husband Mike Thompson of Bullhead City, AZ, along with two sisters Alejandra Esquivel of San Marcos, TX and Refugia Martinez of Pharr, TX. She also leaves to cherish her memory her numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who all held a special place in her heart.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 16, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA

Interment immediately following at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA
