Henry Roscoe Oyler, 61, a lifelong resident of Madera County, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 in Coarsegold, CA. Henry was the son of Jack and Lola Wooley Oyler, members of the pioneer Oyler and Wagner families of Eastern Madera County. Henry attended schools in Madera graduating from Madera High School with the Class of 1975. Over the years Henry was a Heavy Equipment operator in the Logging industry in addition to farming and working in construction. In his free time Henry was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting ,fishing and just being in the mountains. He was a caring person, a friend that could always be counted for help.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Lola Oyler, and by his siblings John Oyler, Johan Oyler, Bruce Oyler, and Janice Ratzlaff. He is the father of Hank Beckwith of Oregon, and the brother of Jack Oyler and his wife Dana of Madera, and was the uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He is survived by many cousins as well as his constant and faithful companion Badger and was a friend to many.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM at Jay Chapel with a funeral service following at 1 PM at Jay Chapel. Interment will be at a later date in the Oyler plot of the Wagner Cemetery in Friant.
