Mrs Helen Christine Shelton

Helen Shelton passed away Sunday, July 12.  It was her 90th birthday.  She was born in Jasper, Alabama moved to California when she was 13.  Lived in Madera the rest of her life.  She worked at Monroe Elementary School for over 20 years as a teacher’s aide and the librarian.  She loved books and to read.  She was preceded in death by the love of her life, John Shelton and all of her siblings.  Mom was the last of Issac Woodley’s children to expire.  She is survived by her three daughters, Kathie Johnson and her two children Tonya Isturis and Brent Johnson.   Rhonda Johnson her husband Bruce and their two girls, Liesel Miller, her husband Brad and Leah Peters along with her husband Aaron. Konnie Vos and her husband Emmett and their three children Brandal Goetz, wife Julie, Jason Goetz and his wife Ashley, Angela Lewis and her husband Steve. She was blessed with 16 Great-Grandchildren and one Great Great-Grandson.  We all loved her very much.  She was a great Mom a fantastic Grandmother and of course the best GG ever.  She will be missed!!
