Gloria Sanchez Garza
April 10, 1939 - November 10, 2023

Gloria S. Garza was born in Las Animas, Colorado to Dionicio and Aurora Sanchez, she passed away on November 10, 2023 at the age of 84 in Chowchilla skilled Nursing Facility located in Chowchilla, California.
In 1961, she married Serapio Smith Garza and they were blessed with 6 children.

She will always be remembered as a very kind woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She loved to sew and enjoy quilting.
She was an excellent cook and we will always cherish those moments we spent with our precious beautiful mother.
She was dedicated to her Catholic Faith
The Garza family would like to thank Chowchilla Skilled Nursing Facility for taking care of our mother for the last 5 years. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation for hospice care.
She is preceded in death by her husband, her brothers Sixto Sanchez, Jesus Sanchez, Narciso Sanchez, and her sisters Enedina Garza and Margaret Vasquez.
Gloria is survived by her 6 children, Dionicio Garza and wife Cynthia Garza, Robert Garza and wife Monica Garza, Margaret Eastham and husband Greg Eastham, Zenaida Garza and husband Johnny Montemayor, Angel Garza and wife Sylvia Garza, Oziel Garza and wife Sylvia Garza, 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by her brothers Zacarias Sanchez, Santiago Sanchez, Gustavo Sanchez, and her sister Veronica Rosas.

Mass of Christian Burial -11:00 am, Tuesday, November 21st, 2023 at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera, California
Interment- following Funeral Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Madera, California
