Gary Lee Wortham

Gary Lee Wortham passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the age of 70. He was born on March 11, 1948 to Benjamin Wortham, Jr. and Lula Mae Wortham in Henrietta, Oklahoma. Gary has been a resident of Madera for 69 years. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army. Gary worked at Food Maxx Grocery Store as a Meat Manager in Fresno for 23 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Noreen Clark.

Gary is survived by his wife, of 36 years, Kathy Wortham of Madera, his two sons, Bryan Wortham and Frankie Wortham both of Madera, his daughter Shea Lopez of Madera, his brother Frank Wortham of Sonora, his five sisters, Christine Bussey and Norma Woods of Chowchilla, Charlene Duncan of San Diego, Lurlene Lewis of Fresno and Colleen Womack of Reedley. Gary also leaves behind his three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 from 8:00 A.M. to 11:30 A.M at Jay Chapel in Madera.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:30 AM at Jay Chapel.

Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
