Fun Jung

Fun “Funny” Jung 78, a native and life resident of Madera, passed away peacefully from natural causes on March 2, 2021. He attended local schools and was a graduate of Madera Union High Class of 1959. Fun soon entered into the U.S.Army. Upon his return, he was again engaged in the family business of United Food Center in downtown Madera. Fun was responsible for much of the work with his brother Hurdy at the market yet he truly enjoyed being the Butcher and running the Meat Department.

Fun is preceded by his parents Chuen and Chew Lia Horn Jung, Brother Quan “Hurdy” Jung, and Sister Virginia Jung.

He is survived by his Wife Evelyn Medeiros Jung of Madera, his twin sons, Brandon Jung, D.C. and Randal Jung D.C. and his wife Christy. Funny leaves behind his grandchildren: Karlee, Meah and Taegan.
