Fred Breitwieser

Fred William Breitwieser passed away on Monday, July 1, 2019 at the age of 93. Fred was born in California to William and Lena Breitwieser on August 22, 1925. He has been a resident of Madera for 90 years where he a Sales Representative for Montgomery Wards in the Furniture Department. Fred enjoyed going camping and fishing and working on puzzles. He attended the Madera Baptist Church on Almond Avenue in Madera.

Fred was preceded in death, by his parents his second wife Pauline Breitwieser, his son Robert Breitwieser, his daughter Brenda Bass and his granddaughter Suzette and grandson Dwayne Breitwieser.

He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Betty Breitwieser, his children, Bill Breitwieser Stone of Grand Ronde, OR, Jack Peevey and his wife Pearley of Garden Grove, CA, Ron Peevey and his wife Julie of Hobson MT, Mike Smith and his wife Stephanie of Roseville, CA, Cindy Blakemore of LaPine, OR, Charlotte Riddle and her husband Boyd of Madera, Sharon May and her husband Shorty of Atwater, CA, Carolyn Selzer of Madera, Darla Kuhne and her husband David of Los Banos and his sister Kris Auldt of Madera. Fred also leaves behind twenty three grandchildren, fifty eight great grandchildren and twenty three great great-grandchildren.


Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 11:00 AM, Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera, CA
