Mr Francisco Deleija

Francisco Deleija, 59, of Madera California, passed away on February 11, 2021 after a long fought 6-year battle with cancer.

Francisco was born on May 14 1961 to Raul and Maria De La Rosa Deleija in Durant, Oklahoma. His early childhood was spent in Mexico with his grandmother Emiliana Robles before arriving in Madera California as a young child. He graduated from Madera High School and worked for the Madera Unified School District as a custodian for 37 years until the time of his passing. He loved his job and adored the friendships he made in his long history of service.

In 1987, he met Sara Alicia Gerardo, and they wed in 1988, going on to have two children, George Deleija and Selena Deleija.

Francisco was predeceased by Bertha Madrigal-Deleija. He is survived by his loving wife Sara Alicia Deleija, Son George Deleija, Daughter Selena Deleija, Brother Raul Deleija, Sisters Alsi Deleija, Martha Sagaguchi Deleija and Nora Rodriguez-Deleija.

Funeral Services will be at Jay Chapel on Friday, February 26, 2021, due to Covid-19 rules, attendance is limited with social distancing and facial masks are required.
