Evelyn Moenich

Evelyn “Evie” Moenich, age 76, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2019 in Madera, Ca. Evelyn was born in Michigan on May 22, 1942 to Menzo and Betty (Pipe) Brummel. After moving to Madera in 1972, Evelyn worked for many years as a waitress at Luca’s Restaurant before transitioning to a Recorder for the Madera Family Support Center. Evelyn was a member of the Cornerstone Community Church in Chowchilla which she loved attending each week. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, where she enjoyed gathering with friends and spending time together. Evelyn also loved to sew and knit afghan blankets and have tea parties with her granddaughters.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents Menzo Brummel and Betty (Pipe) Brummel.

Evelyn is survived by her two sons Jody Moenich of South Carolina and Roy and his wife Cindy Moenich of Chowchilla, her three beloved grandchildren Amber Moenich, Baylee Moenich and Christian Radasheski, her brother Roger and Connie Brummel of Michigan, and her sister Ruth Brummel of Michigan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Cornerstone Community Church in Chowchilla.
