Etoile Inez Consigny

Etoile “Star” Consigny, age 96, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018 in Madera, California. Star was born on December 28, 1921 to Joe and Myrtle Harris in Tioga, Texas. Star was a former resident of San Jose for over 65 years before moving to Paradise where she lived for over 17 years. For the past 6 years, Star has lived in Chowchilla. Throughout her life, Star was a checker for several different grocery stores in the San Jose area.

Star was preceded in death by her husband James Consigny who passed away in 1997, her two brothers, Aubry Harris and Lauren Harris, and her four sisters, Ruby, Wilma, Lurlene, and Leona.

Star is survived by her daughter, Lynelle and her husband George Bandtell of Chowchilla, her stepson, Ron Consigny of Idaho, formerly of Morgan Hill, and her sister Wilma Carothers of Meridian, Ca who is 102 years old. Star also leaves behind her cherished 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Jay Chapel in Madera, Ca.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Oak Hill Memorial Park in San Jose, Ca.
