Ermilo Guijosa

Ermilo “Milo” Guijosa, a resident of Merced, California passed away on September 13, 2021 at the age of 38 as a victim in a local Merced pizzeria shooting with his family.

Milo was born in Merced California on June 13, 1983 to Dolegario Guijosa and Susana Guijosa. He graduated with a high school diploma at Golden Valley High School in Merced and was married to Sandra Guijosa for eight years. 

Milo was an active church member and was affiliated with the Faith Mission Ministries. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, welding, gardening, and playing catch with his sons. He also loved fixing cars and listening to oldies music.

Milo is preceded in death by his mother, Susana Guijosa. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sanchez Guijosa of Merced; his two sons Josiah Ceja and Ezekiel Guijosa. Milo Guijosa and his wife Sandra; his father Dolegario Guijosa; his stepmother Victoria Guijosa, his brothers, Audiel Guijoza, Linder Guijosa, and Cesar Guijosa; his sister, Sujey Guijosa; his nephews, Anthony Guijoza, Carlos Godoy, and Angel Bernard Jr.; his nieces, Karina Godoy,  Nayelie Guijoza, and uncle Santos Guijosa. Milo will be greatly missed and held in the hearts of those who love him forever. 

A visitation for Milo will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Mercy Church located at 459 W. 21st, Merced Ca 95340. The burial service will be held at Calvary Cemetery 260 W. Child Ave. Merced, CA 95340. The Memorial Service will be held at Yosemite Lake at the Fish & Game wall building 5714 Lake Rd. Merced, CA 95340.
