Earl Wayne Vanderburgh
April 10, 1931 – August 31, 2019
Earl was born on April 10, 1931 to Helen and Harry Vanderburgh and passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the age of 88 in Clovis, CA. Earl lived in Madera, Clovis, Fresno and the mountain foothill of North Fork and O’Neals. He graduated from Fresno State, class of 1954, during his college years Earl played on the Fresno State Football Team. After graduation, he became a teacher, educator and coach in the Fresno Unified School district for 30 years.
Earl was a cattle rancher, horseman, grain farmer and truly loved the outdoors and sports.
He was married to MaryAnn Ryan and they were blessed three children, Jake and Stan Vanderburgh and Cindi Cook. Earl and MaryAnn divorced and Earl married Rita Bergman.
Earl was preceded in death by his two sons, Jake and Stan Vanderburgh and his second wife Rita Bergman. He is survived by his daughter Cindi Cook, his four grandchildren, Miya and Ryan Vanderburgh, Brent Vanderburgh and Ian Cook, his sister, Betty Martin and brother, Bill Vanderburgh.
There will be no memorial services held per Earl’s request.
