Mrs Doris Marie Long

Doris Marie Long was born on January 23, 1941 in Cochran, Texas and passed away in Clovis, California at Heritage Crossing Care Center, at the age of 79 years. Doris was born to Haskell D. Clark and Alice Marie Holt. She moved from Texas to Mendota attending Tranquility High before moving to Madera and graduating from Madera High School, Doris later worked in the Insurance Industry with a career that spanned 30 years, retiring from Liberty Mutual Insurance at their Fresno office. Doris was married to Doyle Long a well-known Building Contractor. She enjoyed traveling in their motor home with their friends, and attending events in the Madera Community. Over the years, Doris has resided in Madera, Fresno, and Chowchilla at different times.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband Doyle Long in 2012.
Doris is survived by her children; Brian Dickens and his wife Lisa of Madera, Katrina Chung and her husband Gary of Clovis, Karen Wilson of Clovis, and Gary Long and his wife Karan Long of Madera. She is the sister of Dean Clark and his wife Carolyn of Madera and the beloved Nana to numerous loving grandchildren.

A graveside service for Doris will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at 10 AM at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
