Donald Bott passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the age of 93. Don was born in Dinuba, CA to James and Hazel (Mills) Bott on December 13, 1925. He has been a resident of Madera, CA for 55 years. Don was a U.S. Army Veteran having served his country during WWII in England. He farmed in Clovis and later in Madera, farming for over 50 years. Don also worked in construction; he was a board member of the Fresno Grangers Federal Credit Union and a member of Berenda-Dixieland Grangers.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hazel Bott, his son Lyle Bott and his brother, Leo Bott.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Marilyn Bott of Madera and his daughter Shelley of Madera and daughter-in-law, Judy Bott of Fairbanks, Alaska. Don also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the V.F.W. Hall Post 1981, 2026 N. Granada Dr, Madera, CA 93637.
