Dianne Andree Copland, 68, of Clovis passed away on January 11, 2023 peacefully at home. Dianne was born to the late Donald and Rita Code on March 26, 1954. She grew up in Big Creek, California where she became an avid backpacker and downhill skier. She became an advanced equestrian upon her family moving to the Fresno area. After attending and graduating Clovis High School Dianne met and married the love of her live, Larry Copland. They raised three beautiful daughters and resided in Angels Camp, California for 36 years. Later in life Dianne moved back to Fresno where her passion for animals led her to become active with animal rescue efforts. She loved entertaining family members at home and took great pride in showing off the beautiful garden she created.
Dianne was preceded in death by her late husband Larry Copland in 2012. She is survived by her three daughters: Melissa Copland, Michelle (Brian) Lopez, Emily (James) Goble and her seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Marc (Chuck) Code.
Dianne will be remembered as a loving mother and adored grandmother. She loved each of us beyond this life. Our pain was her pain and our success her greatest pride. She was known to her family to be kind, courageous, independent, and determined to succeed. Her smile was the light in every room. Dianne’s death leaves a void in the hearts of all who loved her. “Until the twelfth of never, we’ll still be loving you.”
A graveside service will be held April 12, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Calvary Cemetery, Madera, Ca 95638.
