Dewey Barnes

Dewey Darrell Barnes, resident of Wishon, CA for 49 years, passed away on December 23, 2019 at the age of 86 at his home. He was born March 1, 1933 to Dewey and Imajean Barnes in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In 1951, he married his sweet wife of 68 years, Delores Rose White. They were blessed with 4 children.

One of Dewey’s favorite pastimes was spending time with family and friends. He was an active member of Grace Community Church in North Fork.

Dewey was preceded by his son David L Barnes, both parents, two brothers and two sisters.

He is survived by his wife Delores Barnes, son Clifford (Chuck) Barnes, daughters Helen (Beckie) Barnes and Tammie R. Barnes-Singleton, 6 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Dewey was the greatest man, husband, father, and grandfather to walk this earth. We love you and miss you. Until we meet again…

Visitation will begin Friday, January 10, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Jay Chapel.

Graveside service will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Arbor Vitae Cemetery in Madera.
