David Leonard Osuna passed away on December 3, 2018 with the Lord and his family by his side. He was born November 28, 1948. David was raised in Madera, California by Abraham and Sally Osuna.
David served in the US Army as a combat medic in Vietnam and was an awarded the Bronze Star for his service. He received his B.S. in Business Administration from California State University Fresno and his M.B.A. in Marketing/Competitive Environments from Saint Mary’s College in Moraga, CA. He worked for Valley Children’s Hospital for over 30 years with his last position being Service Line Administrator for Division of Neonatology, Respiratory Care and Critical Care Transport Services. David retired two years ago after working for 10 years for California Shock Trauma Air Rescue as the Division Director, Business Development and Relations. David will be remembered as not only as a loyal and loving husband and father but also as an advocate, a patriot, a romantic, a true friend, a master BBQer and a generous and loving soul.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Gloria Perez and his brother, Ronald Osuna.
David is survived by his wife Tracy Osuna, his daughter Adrienne Barraza and son Eric Osuna and his son-in -law Juan Barraza, his grandchildren, Martin David, Joshua, Jonathon, and Marissa Sandoval, David, Eric, Ronald and Ethan Osuna and his grandson Mateo Barraza. David is also survived by his sisters, Christina Castro and Olivia Osuna. He was loved many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on: Friday, December 14, 2018, 11:00 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church, Madera, CA. Inurnment immediately following at Calvary Cemetery, Madera.
