Cesario Montemayor Jr.
September 20, 1958 – June 2, 2021

   Cesario Montemayor Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away at the age of 62, Wednesday, June 2, 2021. He was a native of San Juan Texas and resided here in Madera for 59 years. He worked for the city of Madera for 42 years.

   Cesario was preceded in death by his parents: Cesario Montemayor Sr. and Cecillia Montemayor and his sister Josefina Martinez of Houston, Texas. He is survived by his wife Chriscynthia of 32 years and his three children and their families: Anthony Cesario Montemayor and his children, AJ and Angelina; Nicholas Ryan Montemayor; Joshua Montemayor and his wife Ayano and their child Emilia Mei.

   He is also survived by his sisters and brothers: Rueben Montemayor of Madera, Irene Lopez of Madera, Jose Montemayor of Fresno, Hilda Morales of Kettleman City, Ludi Cuevas, Johnny Montemayor, Marlene Prado, Arturo Montemayor, Mary Lou Montemayor and Renei Montemayor, all Madera residents.

   Cesario’s legacy in life are the many family members he lovingly cared for and influenced in so many positive ways. He was the foundation and rock for his family and extended family that he loved so much.

   Please join us in celebrating his life. Services will be held at 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Jay Chapel on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 and burial followed on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Calvary Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. If you cannot attend the service on Wednesday, a viewing will be held 8:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021 A reception is being held Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at San Joaquin Winery.
