Carmen Lopez Rodriguez

Carmen Rodriguez was born March 24, 1922 in Moroleon, Guanajuato, Mexico. She came to America in 1963, and lived in Montclair, CA until 1991. Carmen then moved to Madera and lived here for 31 years until she passed away.

She was married 1940 to Rodolfo Rodriguez until he passed away in 1989. She is survived by a brother and a sister in Mexico. Carmen has two surviving children, a daughter in Madera and a son in Kansas. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carmen was very well loved and left an impact on the lives of everyone she met. She enjoyed the simple things in life like dancing at weddings, listening to mariachi music, and spending time with family. In her retirement she took pride in tending to her beautiful gardens, cooking for everyone, and taking care of her pet birds.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Jay Chapel, Madera, California with a Recitation of the Rosary to follow at 6:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, August 5, 2022 at 9:30 am at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in Madera, California, interment held at a later date.
