Carlos was born October 22, 1963 in Santa Clara, CA and passed away January 27, 2021 in Roseville, CA.
He went to Eastin Arcola from Kindergarten through 8th grade and Graduated from Madera High
Coyotes in 1981. He continued his education at Fresno State University and Graduated with a bachelor's degree of Architectural Engineering. Throughout Carlos Life he continued his education to climb up the ladder for his career.
Carlos worked at Pete's Sport Shop for screen printing for several years. Then he ventured on to work for the State of California. He went to the hot desert of Calipatria, Ca and worked as an Art Teacher for Calipatria State Prison. Then he moved to the nice cool air of Monterey, Ca to become the Vice Principal at Folsom State Prison. He became spoiled with the cool breeze of Monterey even 70 degrees was too hot for him. He then moved on to the State of Sacramento to work as a Supervisor of Correctional Education. It was a total of 34 years working at the State. He always encouraged his nephews to get a job for the state.
He was one in a million and there is so much to say about Carlos. Very special to all of us. He cared about how we were feeling. Always made us feel comfortable. Always worried if mom & dad were ok. He enjoyed spending his free time at the Monterey beach relaxing reading a book or whale watching. He was very creative. He knew how to cook really good, "Especially Pasta" we loved his macaroni & cheese. His crab & shrimp feast would always be a fun time for all that attended.
Carlos considered himself to be Batman, and he was a Godfather to many nieces and nephews. They all practically called him Nino or Nono. He loved every minute of them saying it. They were his kids. He loved them all. They all looked up to him as well. Carlos enjoyed watching San Francisco Giants & the New England Patriots play. Carlos was fun to be around very kindhearted, compassionate, artistic, and very creative. Carlos will be deeply missed by all of us that knew him. There will be a hole in our hearts. Carlos has touched many lives in the short time he was here.
Carlos was preceded in death by his sisters Christina Galindo and Hope Galindo.
Carlos is survived by his parents Ben & Yolanda Galindo. Brother Ben Galindo III (Norma Galindo), Brother Nick Galindo, Sister Connie Chambers (Scott Chambers). He had several nieces and nephews whom he loved very much. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
