Barbara Simpson

Barbara Simpson passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at the age of 77. She was born in Wynne, Arkansas to Leon and Callie Jones.

Barbara graduated from Madera Union High School in 1957 and was a resident of Madera California for over 50 years. She retired from United Vintners Winery.

Born Bobbi Jean Jones she went by Barbara on account of its more feminine sound.  She was a home maker and hard worker in her adult life, caring for those she loved in the best way she knew how.  Until
her passing she cared for her mother night and day alongside her siblings. She was honest and she was kind.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father Leon Jones, her sister, Leona Horton and brother Walter Jones.

She leaves to cherish fond memories: her mother, Callie Mae Jones; her daughter, Kathy Simpson of Atlanta Georgia; her 3 sisters, Versie Brinagh and Evelyn Bellinger both of Madera, Ca and Josephine Graves of Altadena, Ca and her brother, Cecil Jones also of Madera.

She leaves loving memories to her grandchildren: Lorenzo Thomas, La'Kesha Hill, Lexis Lewis and La'Bresha McGee, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
