Barbara Joanne Beltran, age 62, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 20, 2021. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Barbara was born on October 7, 1958 in Madera, CA to Joe and Eileen Foster. She graduated from Madera High School and worked for Madera County Social Services for over 30 years.
Barbara enjoyed the ocean, camping, fishing, time at the Casino, traveling and softball in her younger days. She lived life to the fullest and was well known for being the life of the party!
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Joe Foster Jr., her brother Mark Foster, and her brother-in-law Mark Gurrola.
Barbara was survived by her mother, Eileen Foster, two sons Michael Beltran and Keith Webb, her bonus daughters Julia Posas and Angelina Gonzales, her grandchildren Ayden Beltran and Audrina Hurbert, her bonus grandchildren Rachel Posas, Ariana Posas, Gabriel “Junior” Posas, her brother David “Smokey” Rickerd and his wife Becky, her sister-in-law Jeanne Foster, her sister Debbie Gustafson and her husband John, her sister Margie Gurrola, and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many family and friends who she loves dearly.
Barbara’s life song was for everyone to come together and love each other. She always said, “Let bygones be bygones.”
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 from 3:00 to 6:00pm at Jay Chapel with a rosary beginning at 6:00 pm. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at Saint Joachim Catholic Church.
