Barbara Ann Akins

Barbara Akins was born on August 28, 1937 to Leslie and Blanche (Walker) Meyers in Victor, Colorado. Throughout her life, Barbara lived in San Jose, California and Canon City, Colorado before moving to Madera, California a few years ago.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Odie Akins, her son Rodger Akins and her three sisters Mary, Betty and June.

Barbara is survived by her four children, Marty Akins of San Jose, Kim Miller of Colorado, Tara Bixler of Madera, and Paul Akins of San Jose. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
