Tribute

Aurora MaryJane Flores passed away at home on Monday May 10, 2021 at the age of 86 in Fresno, CA. Aurora was born in El Paso, TX in 1935 to Liborio and Esperanza (Hope) Navarro. She graduated from Washington Union High School in Fresno. She lived in Madera, CA for most of her life and worked for Oberti Olives for many years. She was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church and active in the Band Boosters of Thomas Jefferson Middle School and Madera High School. She was a beloved mom, grandma, great grandma, sister and friend. She will be tremendously missed by many. 

Aurora was preceded in death by her husband, parents, five siblings and great granddaughter. She is survived by her children Joe & his wife Rita Flores of Clovis, Ernie & his wife Sharmae Flores of Strathmore, Annette & her husband Akio Fujioka of Fresno, her sisters Lisa Mac Taggart of Fresno, Judy Mayorga of El Paso, Sally Lubetich of Escondido and brother Edward Navarro of Fresno. She also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and her beloved dog Buddy. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jay Chapel, followed by a Rosary and Catholic Funeral Service also at Jay Chapel, Rosary at 11:00 a.m. and Funeral at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Madera, CA

Remembrances may be made to: Jr. Giants Community Fund, communityfund@sfgiants.com or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. 

Reception will be private for immediately family only. We will be holding a Celebration of Life in the future.
