Aureliano Avila

Mr. Aureliano Avila, age 75, a native of Mexico and a resident of Madera, CA for 53 years, passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at his Madera home. He was self-employed in real estate and was a devoted member of St. Joachim Catholic Church where he was an excellent example of love. He was a devoted and loving father and husband. Aureliano was a fighter and beat cancer twice. He enjoyed gardening, music, dancing, boxing and soccer but his true happiness was his family.

Aureliano was preceded in death by his parents, Emiliano and Maria Flora Avila and brother, Juan Avila.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Bertha Ruiz. 1 son: Aureliano Nicolas Avila and 2 daughters: Milagros Avila and Bertha Lilia Avila. He is also survived by his brother Jose Avila and 2 grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Sunday, June 3, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a Rosary beginning at 6:00 pm at Jay Chapel in Madera.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, June 4, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
