Ms Aquilina Ignacia Martinez

Aquilina “Quily” Martinez was born February 1,1963, in Santa Cruz de Bravo, Silacayoapam, Oaxaca, Mexico to Margarita Daza and Erasmo Martinez. She passed away on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the age of 60 surrounded by her family. Quily was a people person and won the hearts of whoever she met. Language was never a barrier for whoever she befriended. She would find a way to communicate with them. Her passion was to cook. She would find any occasion just so she could cook for you. She loved her family so much. She would take care of everyone whenever they needed it. She was the best mother one could ask for.  She loved her daughters; they were the love of her life. She was also the best grandmother. Her love for her grandson was immeasurable. Quily was a giver, giving anything she could whether it be a warm meal, a phone call, or her time to make others feel loved. Despite having an early hard life, upbringing and ongoing health challenges, she never let it get in the way of her giving and loving life at all times.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Francisco Maldonado.

She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Molina; Shelly Panggabean along with her husband Sahata Panggabean and her grandson Benaiah E.W. Panggabean; Claudia Estrada. She is also survived by her brother Lorezno Martinez; sister Guadalupe Hernandez Daza; sister Serafina Reyes; sister Monica Garza and husband Robert Garza. She is also survived by her niece Diana Mercado; niece Isabella Garza; and nephew Kyler Garza.

Aquilina “Quily” Martínez nació el 1 de febrero de 1963 en Santa Cruz de Bravo, Silacayoapam, Oaxaca, México, hija de Margarita Daza y Erasmo Martínez. Falleció el jueves 9 de noviembre de 2023 a la edad de 60 años rodeada de su familia. Quily era una persona sociable y se ganaba el corazón de quienes la conocían. El idioma nunca fue una barrera para hacer amigos, siempre encontraba una manera para comunicarse con ellos. Su pasión era cocinar. Ella siempre encontraba cualquier ocasión para cocinarle a su familia y amigos. Amaba mucho a su familia. Ella cuidaba de todos cuando la necesitaban. Ella fue la mejor madre que uno podría pedir. Amaba a sus hijas, ellas eran el amor de su vida. También fue la mejor abuela. Su amor por su nieto era incomparable. Quily era una persona bondadosa, daba todo lo que podía, ya fuera una comida caliente, una llamada telefónica o su tiempo para hacer que los demás se sintieran amados. A pesar de tener una vida difícil y problemas de salud continuos, eso no le impedía seguir siendo la persona bondadosa amando la vida en todo momento.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y su hermano Francisco Maldonado.

Le sobreviven sus hijas, Sharon Molina; Shelly Panggabean junto con su esposo Sahata Panggabean y su nieto Benaiah E.W. Panggabean; Claudia Estrada. También le sobreviven su hermano Lorezno Martínez; hermana Guadalupe Hernández Daza; hermana Serafina Reyes; hermana Mónica Garza y esposo Robert Garza. También le sobreviven su sobrina Diana Mercado; sobrina Isabella Garza; y sobrino Kyler Garza.
