Tony Garza, age 75, passed away on August 1, 2017 at his Madera home. Tony was born on September 30, 1941 to Anastacio and Consuelo Garza in Eagle Pass, Texas. Tony was a resident of Madera for the last 39 years. He was a member of St. Joachim Catholic Church, and was also involved in Los Coporales, a horse riding group, where he rode in parades and the annual Joaquin Murrieta Ride.

Tony is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Tony is survived by his wife of 49 years, Katie Garza of Madera, his two sons, Reuben and his wife Rochelle Garza and Eddie Garza, of El Paso, Texas, his two daughters, Judy and her husband Tony Espinoza of Madera, and Linda Garza of El Paso, Texas. Tony also leaves behind four brothers, three sisters, eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joachim Catholic Church in Madera with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11:00 A.M. also at St. Joachim Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Madera.
