Tribute

Michael De Cesare, a native of New Jersey and a resident of Madera for 24 years, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2021 at the age of 92.

Mike worked over 60 years, as an Insurance Adjuster for multiple Insurance companies and later as a Public Insurance Adjuster for individuals. He was a Private Investigator as well for over 30 years.

As a young man, he entered into the U.S. Navy where he served during WWII. He was inspired by his two older twin brothers who paid the ultimate price when Pearl Harbor was attacked. After the war ended, Mike returned to school and received his Law Degree. He found greater joy in helping people as an adjuster and finding the truth as an investigator. Michael was a Life Member of VFW Post 1981 in Madera.

Michael is preceded by his two sons, Willie De Ceseare and David Sherrow, with his parents and eight siblings. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Dorlene De Ceseare of Madera, and son Robert Sherrow and his wife Stephanie of Fresno, along with 4 Grandchildren, Sydnee and her husband Ian, Zackery, Karlye and Samantha.

Services will be Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at Calvary Cemetery in Madera, at the Covered Arbor area.
